One more day of this on Wednesday then back to rain and sticky air.
My hay was cut yesterday and Sunday and baling tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully get it hauled home before it rains on Thursday.
Most of it is across the road on 2 neighbors who let me bale the grass-hay for free so they get their AG RE tax break. A win-win deal for all 4 of us.
Then a friend cuts, rakes, and bales for $13 for a 5 ft round bale. I keep what I need and give him the rest. Last year he got 16 bales.

Only slight problem is the neighbor across the road the property is 1/2 mile deep. It's a long haul out of there. Used to be a friend's landing strip before he got sick and moved.

The spillway on my pond couldn't keep up with the water coming in, it actually started flowing over the dam for a while on Thursday. IMG_20170706_172603604.jpgIMG_20170706_172525016.jpg

I'd say you didn't get a lot done J. I got some mowing done early at my cabin this morning. The rest of the time I sat on the porch and watched the rain mutilate my gravel driveway. I'll have fun working on that next trip there.

Not outside at least Dick, hopefully your gravel drive isn't tore up too bad... Looks like more of the same today....

I must've slept right through that one. Knocked the main transformer out at work. They have us cleaning up trash...thought I got out of the military...

We got some pretty gnarly shit this morning around 3.

That was a rough one to say the least. Still thundering 8 hrs later.
It's rough on me with my MS as the constant lighting strikes sets my MS muscle spasms off. With the constant muscle twitching it just feels like I have snakes crawling all over me. Starting to calm down now. Had planned on getting my ATF finger print cards done today but now going out.

We got pounded again this morning and more on Friday coming. But much better than the normal drought we have this time of summer.
