This years buy list

Talking with Dustin got me thinking about what I'm gonna add to my butchering pile.

This years want list includes...
1. I want to pick up a window AC unit for my garage. That way I can let deer hang longer in early season.

2. I'd like to get a nice smoker. Nothing like what Beener has, one of those refrigerator style.

3. I'd like to get one of those can cookers. That seems like a great addition to deer camp.

Other things I'd like to buy would be some ladder stands. I know...hang one are the way to go and I love my climber. My foot mobility just isn't cut out for those.

What's on your guys list? Also feel free to give advice on anything or if you have an item and don't want it any longer...let me know.

Seriously, though. I've been hunting from the ground every time I go out. It would be nice to get up in the air, but I've never hung a stand before and I don't own one. Don't know anything about them.

I saw that Phil (hickslawns) sells them and was going to get in touch with him to see what he recommends and then maybe pick one up from him. I also would like to make a good box blind, preferably elevated, but it's probably already too late for that for this year.

There is always 'something' I could add. I have what I 'need' to hunt. Few things would be nice but certainly not necessary.

Fin's grand opening specials were too good to pass up this wkend:

Browning camera
Muddy ladder stand
Moultrie feeder
3pk bow holder arms
Easton Allen wrench kit for bow
Warm weather pants
Warm weather hat

I like the A/C addition Giles, would be sweet to have temp control in the garage.

I still need to grab a pack of 3-blade Muzzys or try out some slick tricks.

I have a couple of extra heavy duty tarps I figure I can put up around the AC to keep the area small. And bypass the thermostat on the unit with one that'll adjust down below 60*.

Those smokers are fancy! Maybe I'll just save my money and put it towards my outdoor fireplace...

I just bought a 6 pack of arrows, 3 lighted nocks and a pack of broadheads. I won't say what kind they are because someone might post a picture of homos at the beach lol.

Just about ready to roll.

Lone Wolf Sit & Climb Wide climber with a Molle II pack for Missouri. Topper and tires for the truck to really turn it in to a hunting rig. Probably pick up a black flash cam or two here soon. Lots of odds and ends will be gathered I'm sure...

Lone wolf climber will be my next big hunting purchase, not this year though lol

Looking for a 20 gauge youth slug gun for the kids since we will be hunting Ohio for the first time, and also an inline muzzleloader. After that I think we are in pretty good shape. We did add a blind and a couple of new ladderstands for this year.

I bought 3 big dog ladder stands on clearance in March. I also added 8 cameras this year. Then I happened to run into a deal on a Tenpoint Vapor. Well, then we went into the Bargain Cave at Cabelas....Next thing I knew, I owned a Leopold spotting scope. I do have a good climber I'd part with if anyone needs one.
