All this rain should help any trees bearing nuts! I looked at the apple trees at the property and they didn't seem to have any on them... How's the apples looking for everyone else?

Can't wait for season. Been really busy this year with non-stop stuff all day everyday but still finding time to shoot my bow and try and get everything dialed in. Trying to keep it simple this year and shoot a doe and maybe a buck if one presents a shot. I really just love being out there and just seeing the improvements I have done to the land pay off and see the wildlife it draws that my cameras are missing. Still got to trim some lanes but I'm getting there. Hope all is going well with everyone as well!

Tonight is early Christmas at our house.

The kids (8 & 11) are receiving a Parker Challenger xbow to share.

They've got 5 weeks to practice if one of them wants to hunt with it this fall.
I put a red dot scope on it and bought a monopod stick for it. It should be a point and shoot affair for anything 25 yards and under with my blessing.

I'm hopeful to sit back and watch this year. We shall see.
