Don't let Brock fool you into thinking he has a choice on what deer Mason is gonna shoot... And if Mason wants to put that pervert on the ground, I'd say that little fag is in trouble and might want to go back in the closet!

Mason would really surprise me if he shot that deer. He has passed far better the last two years, and I was right beside him trying to get him to shoot! Once we find out that big sucker is alive, he will be all in to kill him again, I'm sure. Personally, I'd like to fill out tags and start bird hunting. 8 solid months of hunting at every opportunity for the last two years , I'm ready to move on. Heck, maybe he is too.

So anyway, Mason is a killer. With that being the case, he rigged up an ice fishing pole and mounted it to a blowgun. Why would anyone do that you ask? To kill and retrieve frogs, of course ! We spent the afternoon mowing at his grandmas and arrived home just after dark. He wanted to try it out so we went to the neighbors pond. He shot and retrieved the first one perfectly. So he snuck up to another, shot a dart into its head and it pulled free in the ensuing battle. The third shot was also on the mark and blew clean through the frog, unfortunately his line came untied from the dart and the frog got away. His marksmanship was perfect but we need to make adjustments to the system. Still, he did prove it will work exceptionally well with some tweaking. :).
Look, here's a dead frog.

I think we were mistaken. I do not think the 8 point is the perverted 8. I think it's this guy. We had him coming to a cot pile daily last January, all the way to the end of season and Mason wouldn't even go hunt him. I'd let him walk in November too. I doubt very much if Mason will consider killing him if given the chance. Then again he is trigger happy now it seems.

No Giants yet, but Mason thinks the one might be Beans. The way he dropped inches last year, it could very well be. He has that funny point on the inside of his right main beam like Beans always does. I sure hope it isn't him, if so he has really gone downhill. If we figure out it is him, he's getting shot if given the chance. In fact, much to my surprise, if I don't find the big one soon, Madon will shoot any of these bucks. It's funny how trigger happy he suddenly is.
