Haha, a lot of truth to that joke. He had a small stroke and is a little off, but damn big hearted. He did my bear for almost free IMO. Everything is priced retarded high in Alaska. He was actually at my shop that day with the camera crew. I told him I didn't want that kind of shit in my store. We laughed, he bought a bunch of ammo cans and dry storage containers and left. His brother Steve is a real weird fugger... Not many people give me the creeps, but that sumbitch put the lotion on da skin!

You probably recognize some of the places,
The one is the Harbor in Cordova, the one with the mounted bear was in Anchorage and the glacier pic is Saddleback Glacier, went in with our one buddy and hiked way up Brown bear hunting and took that picture.

Cool pics Brian! Thanks for sharing. Alaska hold some big ass bears, that's for sure. We leave the 8th and come back the 23rd of July.

One thing I hate is fishing and hearing the popping sound. Anyone that's spent enough time in bear country knows the sound I'm talking about. That'll raise the hair on your balls.

As most of you know, I lived in AK for 10 years before moving to SW Ohio. We have set it up to go back and visit the in-laws every other year. Well, it's one of those years! I'm starting to get excited as the next year, turned into months, and now they have turned into weeks. I will try and take lots of pics and post them. I gotta be honest though, I'm not real good at putting down my fishing pole to take a pic. I'm also thinking about going on a Berry Bear hunt. Been kinda craving that meat lately... Plus I think a black bear would look cool with my Grizz...

You suck. Lol

Great pics!! Makes me want to go there again...visited in the 90's, did a little fishing but no hunting. Swore I would go back but with a rifle or bow, no way I go there again and don't hunt. Wildest place in this country.

It really is something...hard to explain to anyone who hasn't ever went. Growing up not far from you, I was amazed for the first few years. Even now when we go back its breath taking. I always explained it to people like this "the mountains start at the water".

Nice pictures and thanks for sharing.

It's always nice to see pictures of places I've never been and probably will never get too see.

In the back of my mind....this on my bucket list too.

I'd rather see Alaska over Hawaii.
