Stupid apple products. Without getting too technical apple started applying an orientation tag to photos. When a photo is take in portrait mode (straight up and down) the phone applies a tag that it was really take in landscape mode. (Sideways). See landscape mode is the correct way to take photos or videos on a phone as the aspect ratio matches things like TVs, computer monitors, YouTube videos, and printed photos etc. The trouble come in when uploading those to places on the internet or emailing them. The site takes the phones word for it that the picture was indeed taken sideways in landscape mode and displays it as such. Sites like Facebook and photobucket have implemented some rather complicated code to correct this. To date vbulletin has not. It only impacts apple products with pics taken in portrait mode.
