Since this is the shed hunting section it would be nice to actually see some pictures rather than just talk about how many we found:smiley_depressive:

JD...

Nice..You're a madman

Whats your assesment as far as how many have dropped?..percentage basis?

Found 2 more late this afternoon. Now at 18 so far. I think 75% of them have dropped. Three of the big sets I really want to find are still on there heads...

lmao i thought the same thing.

Ok good, so I'm not the only one then lmao. I seen the color and look of the rack and noticed the "Slide marks " from the tines looked alot fresher then any tracks in the pic and also the lack of a brow tine. Just looked odd to me lol. Almost like somebody took a fake plastic rattling rack and tossed one down on the ground and took a pic of it lol.

Nice work, JD.

I made it out yesterday after work and walked through one of the county parks for a couple hours. I didn't find any sheds but I saw lots of deer. On the way back to the truck I walked up on 3 deer and kind of caught them off guard. I played it cool, tucked up beside a tree within 30 yds... next thing I know, they walked right to me and milled around not 5 yds away from me! The funny thing is, instead of being in awe like a lot of people would, all I kept thinking about was where I would aim and how many paces away from me I thought they were. I guess it's hard to ignore my carnivore mentality! lmao

Skunked again today. Saw 3 turkeys and 6 deer. My son was able to locate plenty of mud/water to make sure his feet got cold/wet. Gotta learn somehow. I guess my telling him to keep his feet dry so they stayed warm wasn't good enough.

I got out yesterday and took a buddy with me.......We ended up with 14 sheds and 1 dead buck! Most of the sheds were from year and a halfs but there were at least 3 from 2.5 year olds. Pictures later.

Ditto that... my son kept his feet dry with his fireman rubber boots, but the mud was everywhere! Did find a muskrat skull which made it's way home with us.

We saw 3 deer, pulled one stand out, and got plenty of exercise. The dog tagged along TOO, and he's still tired this morning.
