Great buck! Glad you found him. I know how you felt. I lost my WV target buck Friday. My gut is in knots. Still looking but haven't found him. Sometimes things happen. At least you have closure.

Come on Kaiser stop whining....lol

Seriously tho man, like I told you yesterday...the same thing could have happened had it been a textbook hunt out of your treestand. You have the buck, he's yours. This one has a little bit different story behind it but you were hunting him....he was your target deer.

Now you have no excuses for not going fishing with me...haha.

Congrats dude.

Congrats on killing and eventually finding him Kaiser! That's a sweet looking deer! good lesson for guys like me who have shot and not recovered a deer that it's possible to still find it...Even better lesson in ethics for those that will prbly never read this story but SHOULD read this story.

Congrats on all levels to you!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? It just sucks... Period. But at least you found him and you KNOW what happened. You'd feel much worse if you never saw him again and never knew what happened. You have in your possession now a TROPHY of a buck and that's something to be proud of, regardless of how it came to pass. Congrats.
