Field vs sweet corn

Looking for some advice. I have a tree stand currently overlooking field corn---stand has done me well over past 5 years. About 80-100 yards away, the field corn butts next to a late plant of sweet corn, about half as much acrage. Both will be standing come now opener. Both have substantial crop damage. Would you hedge your bets in the tree over the field corn or on the ground (good hide, lots of shooting lane up to 30 yards through crop damage section; tree stand not possible there) next to the sweet corn? Unfortunately cannot place cams for more Intel. Thanks for any suggestions...

If the sweetcorn is not to hard , I know the deer love it
And will bed down both in the corn and sweetcorn

I would pick the stand that has the right wind for the day

On a windy day , still hunting either would be another choice
Shots are close , but the deer seem to relax when they bed down in the corn

Are you sure it's deer doing the crop damage? If stalks are down in different directions, it's coon damage.

Thanks guys! Yes, definitely coon damage (I learned this the hard way a few years ago...thought some ghost deer was cutting down stalks right before my eyes u til I saw the coons), but deer damage mixed in as well!

Playing the wind always makes sense too...thanks!
