I just moved back to Ohio after living in Alaska for the past 16 years and other than the hunting, which was amazing, I am glad to be home. Now that I'm back I am looking for some guidance. First off I live in Crawford county but will travel if the hunting/fishing is there. What my questions are are this...
Is there a web site I can to to help me find hunting properties for sale here in Ohio?
How about one for leasing hunting land?
One for farmers looking for people to help with predators or deer problems?
Im not looking for a handout, just someone to point me in the right direction. I lived here many years ago, but that was before all this technology came about. Thanks in advance.

I think I remember something with cabelas for hunting properties. I'd love to see some pics of some Alaskan animals and views if you get around to it. Best of luck to ya

Crawford county
There are a couple of us that are also from crawford. Not sure about the websites, but if you check the crawford county auditor site, you can view a tax map and get a good starting spot for knocking on some doors. It's tough to find the folks that'll give permission, but they are around.

If you end up looking at public, clear fork to the east has some public ground and doesn't get hit hard, delaware to the south has a ton of public and usually holds some quality deer.

Do u have any family in Crawford? The problem with the internet especially craiglist, a 1000 swinging dicks will post "responsible hunter looking for hunting land" . If I were you I would definitely go to Delaware. As good as some lease land
Most of Crawford County is still traditional ohio hunting permission done with a hand shake and no money, but everyone and there brother will have permission (especially gun)

Welcome back home! I also lived in AK for 10 years and moved back 2.5 years ago. Can't beat the good people in this state!

What part did you live in? I lived in LosAnchorage but traveled around a bit with my store.

Hey corwin, were u in the military? If so u can go to WPAFB and get a base hunting license and there's a good amount of land u can bow hunt, I have 3 bucks on my wall that I killed off of WPSFB and my dad killed a 161 out of my old stand there last year. If u decide to give it a shot let me know and I'll put u on the deer! When I turned 26 i was no longer a "dependant" so I'm not allowed to hunt it anymore:(
