Seen twins this morning in the area a certain member (he knows who he is and I'm sure he has pics/video of him already) here hunts, a doe, and a freaking GIANT buck…

About to load the truck and make the drive to the Toledo area, hopefully get my ass on the lake this evening!

Saw 3 more fawns, 3 does, and a group of 4 batchler bucks last night heading home in a bean field. Wish I could have got pics but it was TOO dark to get a good pic. Man they were huge. They were only about 2 miles from my house TOO.

NWOhio!
I had a doe that looked huge in may...last check in june she had one fawn in tow...that doe traveled the same trail for numerous days in a row after that but the fawn was never seen on those days...2 weeks later the fawn was with mom again on the same cam and trail....i wouldn't have thought it would be 2 weeks in between sightings.

Thanks. This is the Code Black. This is my somewhat 3rd season with it. I had to send it back for a replacement when the 2nd season started up. I use Ray O Vacs & they last a month perhaps. The traffic density isn't that great anymore, so I go with the 200 a month plan. If the deer are back any further, the clarity sucks.

What did you have to send your's back for? The reason I ask is mine is spotty. Every once in a while it'll quit responding to texts or sending pics. Then two days later out if the blue it'll work again.

The cam started sending blank pics. More like a solid blue or so after not being used for about 4 months. I was holding my breath starting off when I set this back out last week , but it's working good so far.

Don't forget to knock on wood!!

I still have been reluctant to give a cell cam a try yet. Biggest thing is the cell coverage around our property sucks at times.

Got these guys on camera. Plus was down in Columbus this weekend at the Zoo, and was driving through Dublin and saw triplets playing on the side of the road. How rare are triplets???? I have only seen singles and twins in my hunting endeavors.

If your coverage is spotty, stay away from mms cams. Mms cams miss a lot of action since the cam has to write the info on the sd card & send it before being able to take the next pic. That's anywhere from 25 sec to 1 min. A lot can happen in that time that a regular cam will capture. I don't know if some of the newer mms cams are better these days, but I've been thru 3 of 'em & when this one goes south , that'll be it for me.

Lots of fawns in my area. I havent gotten any cams out yet. I really need to. In the 10 years I have lived where I do, I have never seen this many shooter bucks in my area. Really should be a great year if I can find the time to get after them

While walking through a 4 ft tall hayfield in the rain on my way to hang a stand, I jumped a lone fawn bedded 75 yards from the landowners house. First fawn I've seen all year.

Getting my little girl ready this morning and looked out to see not one, but two sets of twins with two does that frequent my yard. I'm going to get my feeder back up and running this week so my daughter can see the "deers" more often. Any time you look out the window she asks "any deer out there?"
