Yes. Has been a good bite in close from 12 to 22 feet of water. Rattle tots, hot n tots, jets and spoons, worm harnesses. I will be fishing tomorrow.

Actually…12-22' of water, isn't that basically the entire western basin Ohio waters?

Thanks Redhunter1012, perch sounds good if I we can't find some eyes. I just hate spending half the day cleaning the things. My brother doesn't clean fish, but he has the boat…so he doesn't have to. lol

Its not that much to have them cleaned. Butch and dennys will have them done before you can get lunch and come back for them.

If we go perching on Erie there's a place at the edge of Port Clinton that we drop them off at and about a mile down the road we hit a bar and grill while they get cleaned. No way am I cleaning that many fish when I get home and its pretty cheap

The area where they are getting walleye in shallow water is in front of the turtle creek area and the Western basin has some water in the 35 - 42 ft range and a couple of holes that will hit 50.

Have been for the last 6 weeks...lol

Lake is muddy throughout right now with all the big north winds. If you can get a decent day, which has been few and far between, there are plenty of perch to be caught.

Yeah , perch bite has been on . I haven't been up in about as long as you gern, probably longer actually . . I'm hoping to get up to Huron some later when it picks up round there .
