"Are Crops Contributing To The Whitetail Decline?"

I believe there are some land owners with kill permits around me. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out due to our low number of deer already. The hunter executing these permits is a real nice guy, a fellow sportsman. I just hope the landowner doesn't put too much pressure on em. I'm not sure how the process works so I guess I'm just rambling.

I'll add my opinion to the discussion. As far as I know no one has shot a doe off of the surrounding farms or the farm that I hunt the past couple of years due to predators wiping out their numbers. This year I have seen more does with fawns and yearlings than I have ever seen in the past in person and on cameras. I'm not well read on the subject of crops and all the rest so I won't interject my opinion. But for some people that shoot does year in and year out even when they know their numbers are declining doesn't make much sense to me.
