A Few Survived

Took my SIL for a ride to Carroll County today. Knowing my tractor wouldn't be able to go through the snow he volunteered to take the hike to pull my cameras for the winter.

I was a bit surprised the amount of does, or antlerless bucks, that showed up since gun season. No big bucks, but the amount of deer on two cameras in five weeks was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully the herd in my area didn't get hammered TOO bad.

That buck in the 3rd picture looks like he could be a good one next year.

Hard to tell in the blurry photo ajupsman, but I'm pretty sure he is a buck I call The Tall Nine. If it is him I've been watching him grow since 2012.
