Finally caught these 2 roosted on us. I have had them inside of 100 yards about 10 times in the past week...with some really cool encounters. It took them over an hour to come 150 yards from the roost. The 2 LBs and 3 jakes all strutted the entire time and sounded off many times. Once the 3 hens with them committed to the decoy things got real personal. 8 turkeys from 7-50 yards creates some tense moments. I finally couldn't take it and shot the dominant one at 45 yards. 22 lbs, 10 inch beard, 1 inch & 1 1/16" spurs. Because I watched them for so long this has to be one of my favorite turkey hunts.
In this video they are actually going away from me towards 2 of the hens. I am to the right of the trail back near the opening (food plot). I had lots of videos before I shot but thought this was the coolest.

I was wondering the same thing. Did you notice what the other gobbler was doing in the 2nd video?
Yeeeeup, sure did! Looked like he was scrubbing one off like buck deerz do when frustrated. Lmao
I have lots of videos of those 2 birds. That's the 3rd time I've caught him doing the nasty dance alone. I killed his buddy so maybe he will get the real deal now.
