If you bowhunt alot you are going to have some bad shots, happens to everybody, you just gotta tell yourself there are more out there and stuff happens. Heck, the few I've wounded were a hell of lot bigger than the ones I have on my wall but I didn't give up. Good luck to you.
It got his ass. I thought for sure it would've taken a good pic of him, but it got like his hips a fled back. Ticks me off!
Dang! Keep looking buddy! If you're sure you got liver,kidneys or gut he will not survive. Just keep watching for buzzards or concentrated yote sightings or tracks.

I am truly sorry for what you have had to go through.
The fact that you are very upset and not just blowing this off like so many do is appreciated greatly by me. I read so many in similar situations that are more upset at losing their kill than they are about the waste of a deer. It seems way too often to be more about the hunter than about the deer.
I wish you better results going forward, you deserve it.

Keep your head up man. We have all been there. My first big buck ever we tracked for 6 hours to have him vanish i was sick for days but shit happens and you must overcome it buddy.
