No link between moon phase and the rut

Yea well, I notice differences in chasing it seems every year. And anytime I'm in the woods around late November, I typically don't see a lot of action. I completely plan on spending time in the woods late this fall though.

Far as I'm concerned, if I can hunt the first two weeks of Nov, that's when I'm hunting. Year in and out, my best time comes then. I hunted some great weather last year from Nov 10th to the 20th. It was the worst rut I've ever hunted. I saw about 8 deer total and 4 of which were the same bucks....

back tract to when does in your area started dropping fawns and count backwards about 200 days, and that is when the does were bred, it takes a whitetail about 200 days give or take a few
