Very similar! But are both beautiful bucks and bucks of a lifetime just due to amount of character and just being a nice mature deer. Hope you can put him in the dirt ASAP!

Chad like Ric said , score just lets us all know how big the rack is and then to me gross score is all that really matters cause why deduct and take away from what they grew.I have seen some huge deer that gross really high and then net crap.Just a number anyway as long as we are happy with what we shoot isnt that all that really matters.

Truth.

I've always been obsessed with killing a 140" deer and one of these days it will happen. At times I feel guilty for forsaking the deer I have killed. All 3 bucks are old warriors at 6 years of age, but none of them score well. My buck from 2008 scores 110" with 41" of mass and 4 broken tines. But every time I look at his rack and those palmated beams, I know I made the right call in shooting him. No doubts he was a much bigger deer score wise in his younger years, but his age shows when you look at his face. Ultimately killing mature deer is what we after and the score is a caveat. This deer you are chasing is a true trophy and I'd bet he'll look great on the wall!

Chad, if a deer walks in and its bigger than any Buck you have ever killed.....u best be killing it. Waiting on one deer can be very rewarding....but it can also be very frustrating and discouraging. I promise you, buck hunting vs. One buck hunting, there is no comparison. U will enjoy yourself a heck of a lot more than if u stress yourself out over one particular deer. Ask jesse, Joe, JD, etc.... its a game or roulette. And majority of the time it doesn't end in your favor.....I think that's why a lot of guys get burnt out...... I know that's what happened with me.

I hope u do get a crack at this particular Buck..... of would be bad ass

What Zach said. Hunting just one buck is brutal and not something I see myself doing ever again unless its just a pure monster. I basically did this from 2007-2011 and it nearly ruined me on deer hunting. Kill what makes you happy and let the pieces fall where they may.

I'm not going to stress myself out over this buck. Hell, he may not even be around come huntin time. My honey hole has several nice bucks that I'd be happy with and if one of them gives me the chance then I'm going to take it. But if this buck is still on this pattern come sept 27th (which I doubt he will be) I'm going to hunt him aggressively.
