Painting a deer chair

Last year I got tired of the stool I had in the Pop Up Deer Blind

So I got to thinking I needed a better chair
Bought another blind on a auction the other day

This afternoon I bought 3 of the white Poly or plastic chairs made for setting on the back porch
On sale $7.99 each , so I feel safe leaving them in the blinds

I want to make them camo , brown or even OD Green , not the current white

Any ideas of a primer or cleaner to make the paint stick well ?
Painting plastic is new to me

Trial and error. You might have to scuff it first in order for the paint to adhere is my only thought. Then again, maybe not.

they make spray paint that will adhere to plastic. can't remember which brand, though. Rust-Oleum, Krylon or something of the like. ask Google.

scuff it with a scotch brite you should be ok, if real worried about it find some adhesion promoter and put it on before you spray the paint. be careful with those chairs my buddy missed a big buck because he was leaning back in one to shoot and the leg broke on him still makes me laugh thinking about him falling over.

Thanks for the ideas

I took a ....sort of like a Scotch Brite pad , but for sanding

It took a little while this afternoon
But all 3 chairs are ready to be painted
I guess I still have to run a tack cloth over them to take off the dust

I have a quart of flat brown paint and a quart of flat gray paint , ment to be used on plastic
Not sure of the brand ....it sort of was given to me by someone that read I was going to paint the chairs

So soon I will be able to set in the blind in comfort

OH well
Next step is to try and not panic going up a ladder
