Oh I 'm not doing anything , Just watching the deer leave the woods

I just looked at the thread about new rack growth

I pulled all my cameras
But I do keep track of the local deer

As I was just washing dishs and watched the deer come out of the woods behind my house
So I stoped and got out the spotting scope for a better look , but they headed away from me feeding

Tonight I watched 11 deer exit the woods and start feeding in the corn field :pickle:
At 500+ yds , no clue how may yearling bucks in the group
But none of the deer were the 2 local biger bucks
But they don't tend to hang out with the doe's

This is a great night for deer watching

Oh the woods is only 25 or so acres , but it is thick
Only 1 lane that winds through it for a short ways for us to cut trees

I have 2 tree stands on the back edge , but I save rest as a no go area
So I can let the deer have a safe place to bed

I love just watching deer. There are 4 does that frequently are outside my urban window. I've never seen a buck back there - must be nocturnal - but surely out of the 4 does, one will throw a fawn.
