Just read that Jim Carnes, of Highland county, was one of the two that will face disiplinary actions. After all the years of him blantently not doing his job, I am glad to see at least him hopefully recieve some consicence. The other was a retired officer from Columbiana county. They all are guility at very least of innaccurate time keeping, but today they are back out writing tickets to others I am sure.

I'm confused. Were they hunting on the clock or not? Seems pretty black and white to me... Karnes must have gone above and beyond if he's the only one getting pinched on this thing.

Mahoning Co.
The retired officer from Columbiana co was actually a regional supervisor at the time of the "alleged infraction". When he was the Mahoning co WO he had a reputation of being a real prick. The currant Mahoning co WO is a good guy but his predecessor made people around here wary of dealing with the ODNR.
