Same here. This is the first opening day of gun that I have missed in a long time. Good luck to all who are out there. Stay safe!
Good luck and be safe during gun season. This is the 1st year in 9 yrs. I've not hunted during gun season. 9 yrs. on this date I was having a open-hear surgery to have a pig valve installed.
Since I've taken a buck and doe this year I don't need another deer. I do have my brother coming in to hunt maybe Wednesday or Thursday if he shows up. He hasn't hunted in about 20 yrs. so maybe I will get some stand time.
Then there's a maybe on the grandsons after school this week. I hope.
Matter of fact my youngest grandson turns 16 today. I call him my good luck charm since my heart surgery went so well on his 7th birthday. I didn't want surgery on his birthday but it was a emergency.
