As a heads up, I will be looking to update the leaderboard in the next few days and I know there are several entries that are not yet in the Harvest Thread. If you have harvested a deer for the contest, please look to post up your deer with the appropriate picutres/measurements so it is included in the contest.

Thanks,

Ryan

Update is going to happen tomorrow. Hope to see some of the deer that have been harvested posted in the harvest thread so I can count them. Is team 8 going to remain at the top?

There are a lot of deer that have been taken but not posted in the Harvest Thread. Deer will not be counted if they are not posted in the Harvest Thread. Below is the latest leaderboard. This includes all deer posted throguh 3PM 12/24.

If you feel I have overlooked a post for your team, please shoot me a PM. Good luck to all who are still getting out in the late season.

Boy...its getting exciting on the leaderboard front. I just tallied up all current posts. Aside from deer harvested and not yet posted, lets see if anyone can shake up the leaderboard any further in these last 3 days!!!

Good luck to all still hunting.

Did we ever officially crown the kings around here? Or did we all just say "FUGG deer" at the same time?!? lmao

It's coming. Leaderboard is up to date based on posts. Was hoping some of the folks who haven't posted would have gotten their measurements and posted.

I first want to thank everyone who participated in this seasons contest. With work and family life, I wasn't able to maintain the regular updates and focus I would have wanted to. For that I am appreciative of everyone's patience. I enjoyed seeing the youth get represented with multiple teams. Youth Team 17 placed 11th ahead of 9 other teams.

So with that said, thanks again for all the cooperation and participation in making the 2013-2014 TOO Deer contest a fun one.

Congratulations to our winners, Team 1. Members are as follows:

xbowguy: 9 pt & 1 doe
Hoytmania: 1 doe
buckbuster217: 10 pt
jeremy44230: 9 pt & 1 doe
Lundy: 8 pt

Congrats to each of you on your success this season.

A few other folks I would like to highlight for their bucks this season are as follows:

Most Points: finelyshedded with his crazy 15pt
Longest Beams: JD Boyd edged out LonewolfNopack (preventing a back to back winner in this category) with his 28.25" beam
Longest tine: finelyshedded at 16.5" (did I mention crazy?)
Biggest bases: finelyshedded edged out JD and Lundy by .25". Crazy sported 5" and 6.75" bases
Largest inside spread: TripleA88's 11 pt with an impressive 21.5" spread
Highest Contest Score: JD Boyd took the prize with a contest total of 98.75 points, crushing the highest total from the past to years

Well done fellas!

The final leaderboard is as follows:

  1. 329.5 - Team 1 -
  2. 270.25 - Team 6 - Buck DieNasty
  3. 268.45 - Team 8 - Aces N Eights
  4. 245 - Team 4 - The Raging Booners
  5. 241.25 - Team 12 -
  6. 192.25 - Team 3 - Team Friggin 3
  7. 183.5 - Team 5 -
  8. 151 - Team 2 - Killin', Grillin' and Chillin' like a Tree Stand Villain
  9. 107.5 - Team 13 - Passin' Thru
  10. 102.255 - Team 11 -
  11. 95.75 - Team 17 - Youth
  12. 94.75 - Team 20 - Alternates
  13. 83.75 - Team 15 - Team Triple Nickle
  14. 75.25 - Team 7 - Seven Deadly Slinger
  15. 72.5 - Team 16 - Youth
  16. 68.25 - Team 18 - Youth
  17. 25 - Team 14 - Silent but Deadly
  18. 20 - Team 10 - Tag Em Nation
  19. 20 - Team 19 - Alternates
  20. 15 - Team 9 - Four Dudes with a WIlly

As always, the great news is we can do this all again in 2 months with a turkey contest and in 7 months for a deer contest!

Take care TOO!!!

Ryan

Great job Ryan for all your work in keeping this going, it truly is awesome of you.

Congrats to everyone who participated, overall a successful and safe season in the books.

To my teammates, congrats fellas, and thanks for carrying my dead weight. It would have been really cool if I would of bagged a buck, then all five of us would have taken one.
