What is left of the clover patch. Pumpkins behind it.

Rape took the brunt of the flooding.

Debating on if we should try and reseed or if its too late to worry about it. Probably go in with hand rakes and throw some fall blend down if we do.

Haven't check the video from the bushnell in about a month so looking forward to Thursday. Plot is bouncing back a little bit better than I thought.

Coop finally got winter rye in, we made it down and got some of the bare spots in the plot roughed up and seeded. Gotta love the .69 a pound price and had some cheap labor with the kids who enjoyed standing on the rake as we pulled them around the plot!

Turnips are lookin good and rape is doing real well, clover is gonna need mowed in a week or so, hopefully the rye gets a jump start with the rain we are supposed to get.

Only had one good 8pt on cams, the Mosquitos ran my ass out of the woods!! Just checked all the pics and that's the only buck that showed up.

Lesson one....when using field scan in video mode, only use it for short periods of time or extend the interval to the max!!! I was thinking that the camera would just take a picture at the intervals, nope, all video.

That tall browed 10 is a 3.5 year old and hasn't done a whole lot until this year, came on with a ton of mass and height.

If you have a video editing software, put video in there and play it back at 4x. That's what I do when I have a lot of video to go through.

Couple nice bucks you have running around man!

Couldn't resist, had the day off so I had to go check the cams. Nothing but does, fawns and 2 goofy racks. Got a nice 8 that I'm still debating if he is the same buck we have been getting, the brows are noticeably taller on the recent picture. Also got a cool set of pics when a coyote tried a surprise attack on some coons. Plot is a mess with weeds but clover is doing great and needs mowed.

I would agree, that is a really cool sequence with the coyote. I wish they only ate raccoons. Nice 8pt as well!

10 days and not a single buck picture, it's that time of the season! Always happens right before shedding, the only buck we got off of the 6 cams is a some kind of goofy! Been looking back a few seasons trying to figure out how old he possibly is.

The food plot is looking grim to say the least! We didn't spray this year and it is showing, clover just got mowed today and the turnips are big as softballs, rape is spotty and found out deer don't eat green beans as there is a shitload out there that haven't been touched. 4 pumpkins for the kids and the late rye planting is doing ok.

A few pics...
