    Tractor vs ditch witch?

Keep your eyes open for pallet forks. Not sure how high it can lift, but a skid loader and pallet forks is a game changer. Never knew how much I would use them until I bought a set. We have 3 now in order to have a set at each main location we would use them. Sounds like you have a pretty...

FYI The Tool & Implement Thread

Pretty simple DIY. Hope it works out well. I've seen guys make a bar with chains attached. I've also seen a rubber flap attached. I think this is probably the best route for a push mower though. Keep us post Chad.

    Clinton county giant?

Interesting. I read the article. Said investigations by government entities. I'm curious if they are still investigating and the civil trial is from locals who were hunting the deer? Wouldn't that be an interesting direction for future incidents? Unless I overlooked it, I didn't see where it...

    Honda Foreman won't stay running

Ethanol free gas if available is a big plus. That plug could have been partially fouled. Electronic fuel injection? If battery isn't fully charged was it getting funky readings? Hard saying. Some of them are picky.

    Harbor freight generators

I see a lot of them at the races. For the most part they are just humming along. Every now and then you see someone cussing their "Harbor Freight junk". Honestly though? No more than they are cussing every other brand of generator. These things sit and gum up over winter. Or maybe get a finicky...

    Show us your wood (pile)

No clue. Didn't measure the piles. Added some as the season progressed. I'd say it was my lightest winter of firewood consumption ever. 5-10 cords? Probably 6-8 is a close guess.

    What's in your cup?

Wife bought some Blackberry Bird Dog. I was like "where did this come from?" She bought it today because she hasn't been able to find blackberry Crown. Guy at the liquor store said to try it. Cheaper. Higher proof. Just as good..she mixed it with a blackberry seltzer. I wasn't a fan. Tried it...

    Show us your wood (pile)

Let the boiler go out a couple days ago. Just about out of firewood. It's warm. It was time to shut her down. I've got to do a lot of gathering before next year.

    Wow ......

It's a little soon. Might want to wait until tomorrow to take a stab at it. . .

    Random weather thread

That's just mean, J. We all know Ric has walked more miles than he has driven this year.

    Gravel for Driveways

Solitude? Not if His wife is there too. 🤣 Disclaimer: I don't know his wife. It's a joke. Not a reflection of her.

    Gravel for Driveways

Not to sidetrack this thread, but this is worth noting: I've found different areas of the country use different numbers. Be sure your 57's are the same as the next guy recommending 57's. In this area, 57's are larger and generally used to backfill along a foundation. They don't pack together...

    Truewerk work pants

How stain resistant are they? Seems like mulch dye, dirt ground into the knees, or grease/oils from working in the shop are my biggest issues. Just buy $10 pants and replace often has been my method of combating it.

    2024 shed season

That is an afternoon for Brian, but about 3000 miles of walking for Ric. 🤣 Actually, I doubt he would find that many in 3000 miles the way his properties have been treating him. 😥

    Super duty thread

The Husky x-act fit floor mat for the rear showed up. Fits great. Feels "sticky" enough to keep from sliding across the vinyl floors. Now maybe my milk crate full of tie down straps won't slide back and forth across the floor. No word on when the front floor mats will ship.

Total Solar Eclipse over Ohio on April 8, 2024

Great pics Jim. Love seeing the four generations. Looks like your mom is getting around pretty well. Beard is still kicking butt. Grandkids are growing like weeds. Looks like a great day for you all.

Total Solar Eclipse over Ohio on April 8, 2024

Google articles say . . . Maybe? Depends on the shade level provided and sounds like most of them aren't high enough. Oh well. Didn't buy the glasses. Won't be running out to get any. I think my son bought a couple pairs if I'm around the house when the eclipse is taking place. If I'm not, I'll...

    Hicks Lawn Services truck racing

Motor and transmission are in. Needs a couple things before we fire it and dial it in. Getting close. Body is done. Still working on additional sponsors. Need to get more details to the guy doing my wrap so he can get started.

News said welding helmet or the cheap glasses they are selling to look at it. Is that not accurate?
