Lol it is an American Archery Panther. It was the first bow I ever had and it was set to about 45lbs so it works good. Its not the prettiest bow out there but it has almost no let off so it works for some quick shooting. Can't complain it has served me well over the years.

Got out with my bow for the first time this year. Shot two out of the boat could have had many more if the water wasn't so muddy.

yeee haww looks like its on. Went out for a bit today missed a lot. The water was a lot more muddy than the other day and they seem to be out in a little deeper water. Still a nice day to be out!

I put the smack down one a good tom a little bit ago. Took an exam and had him in the back of the truck before noon. 1 1/2 spurs and 9 inch beard. I will take it! Congrats to others who have had success!

It was a lot of fun wading today. I am usually in a boat but this was a nice change in pace for me. I found sneaking up on carp is not as easy as it sounds, but I am starting to figure it out! :pickle:

Went out for the first time this year and tried a new place. Tons of carp floppin in the shallows and I ended up get 4 just wading through the water. This may be the beginning to something good!

Alright now that we are rolling into some good weather its time to get out and do some shooting. Post pics and let everyone know how ya did!

Went out yesterday morning got there around 6 was 24 degrees and pretty quiet. Sat down for a while and started calling a little but never heard a gobble. Didnt help a hunter on the adjacent property was making all kinds of racket "calling". Moved on to another spot down the road didnt hear...

My advice would be not to overcall. If you call a few times and get him gobbling shut up for a bit. If you keep calling hes gonna end up waiting for you to come to him, but if you get quiet he's hopefully going to come in your direction. When hes gettin in close a few soft calls dont hurt...

I have enjoyed watching this thread throughout the winter! I have many coyotes in my area and me and my dad trapped them years ago. Ive seen all the fun you had so i think im convinced to give it a go next year. Thanks for the awesome thread!

I have never used the "run and gun" strategy. I guess if you have a large enough piece of land to hunt on it would be fun. I like the sit on my butt and call technique lol.

If you mean with lights and all that no. lol. Me and my dad just have gone out during the day with an electric motor which works well.

Thanks badger cant wait to get out there. Im hoping to do more fishing in general on mosquito this year. Have always wanted to but just never had the time
