Got a new one on the way since I told the wife not to buy me anything for Christmas. Amazon had this knife for almost half off what SOG lists it for. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Hard to beat a new pocket knife! I'm still being a bit ginger with this one, I'm sure that'll wear off here shortly and I'll be using it to pry and dig in the gravel.

That's always how it goes lol. I already busted the tip off my SOG, had to grind it down so I lost about a half inch of blade, just got the damn thing in July lol

Yea, with how I use a pocket knife...I should probably still carry a fixed blade and not a folder. I think you need a CCW to carry a real one though. I used to carry a RAT3 and loved it. Carried a RAT7 when I went to the woods. Used it to cut fired wood many of times.

I've been working on upgrading how I go in to the world every day. Bought a Crossbreed holster for the Taurus so I can get my CCW again in January. I got an Amazon gift card for Christmas and order these to become part of my daily carry...

I also got a gift card to Cabelas and used it to buy a couple button up shirts in tall so I had some more cover in the back and a new belt. Looking forward to ending my days as a sheep and entering the world daily as a wolf.

Hard to beat a good flashlight for daily carry Jesse. I also carry a streamlight, not that model, but still a streamlight. It's also what's on my hard hat for work.

I'll second Kershaw. I love the one I've been carrying. Only reason I went with the SOG is I've also been happy with those and I like the design of that knife.

I am amazed by you fellas. I have never put the time into thinking about what kind of pocket knife I'm going to carry. In fact, most days I don't even have one with me. When I need a knife for something, I usually have one or two in my truck that will serve the purpose, but I rarely plan ahead as you guys do. Well done.

If anyone wants to talk flashlights...THIS is the best/brightest hand held around.
Surefire, they have a new model of this light out now that's rechargeable. This one takes 9, CR123 batteries.

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat.... I carry one most days with me though.... They're usually a catch all....
