Wondering if anyone has seen this or heard the story.
I got this picture in a text saying it happened on a farm in Greene County.

That's a new one to me! I've seen a few like that, but not that one. It absolutely amazes me that an animal that is so hard to kill, could let a machine like a combine "sneak" up on it!!!

I agree with Jesse. I've not seen this one yet. Sad part is, you don't know if to believe the county or not. Later this week, it will say Coshocton County or something else.

I was thinkin' about trying to still hunt some standing corn. Anybody have a combine I can borrow?

Heck of a nice buck. Hate to see one go out like that.

Because deer actions aren't so much smart as much as instinct. Nature make them wary of predators(including humans) nature doesn't make them afraid of machinery, cars, bright lights, gunshots etc. They might learn to fear those things but it isn't natural.
