Bushwacked a love hungry buck on Sunday morning. His live weight was 250 lbs, biggest body deer I have ever killed. Also, biggest 7 pt I have ever seen. I was having the worst season of my life as far as seeing deer and deer sign go's, but like I mentioned before, it only takes one deer to turn your season around. I thank God for this deer. With a barley trickling deer herd in my area (Brock knows what its like) my new moto for deer hunting is "It Only Takes One". Not shooting any does from my county this year, so unless I get one somewhere on one of my out of county hunting trips ( Vinton co this weekend ) I am probably done personally deer hunting for the year. Plan to do a lot of trapping and learning to Coyote hunt. Also in picture is Mathews Outback which I won at a banquet and wouldn't trade for any new bow out there. Good luck fellas, doesn't feel quite right not to be buck hunting in November.
