Ok fellas. We moved to a new house this fall and the front yard has 3 huge oak trees and acorns aplenty! Thus bringing tree rats galore. So many that they are eating into the house and I have to keep repairing areas.

I am asking around here to see what experience you all have with air rifles. My grandpa has a Gamo Whisper and I hate it!!! Very inaccurate and I read that the break open air rifles are not good with scopes as the barrels may not always be returned to the same location... Not sure if it's true but I couldn't hold consistency with that gun at all.

Comments and/or suggestions welcome.

Oh yeah, not looking to spend more than $100-$150. Cops may take it after my slaughter...

I know the setup for you but its more that that.. PCP air rifles. Hardly make a sound..I killed 17 pigeons with one at about 40 yards last time I went home. Dad got two tree rats with his last week...
