I wasn't going to do a Journal but since I tagged my 1st bow deer here goes.
1st 4.0 hrs. time out I seen 2 bucks and a small doe. .
2nd 3.5 hrs. time out seen 11 does and fawns and one small buck.
3rd 3.5 hrs. time out seen 9 does and fawns.
4th 3.0 hrs. time out nothing.
5th 3.5 hrs. time out one doe.
6th 4.0 hrs. time out doe and 2 fawns. Shot and tagged the doe. When getting out of hunting tower seen 2 small deer and one huge bodied deer but didn't see the head to determine sex.
Because of this Deer Contest I am hunting more than previous years. This shirt sleeve hunting is more comfortable than our normal gun season hunting.
21.5 hrs total so far. All evenings hunts so far.
30 deer with only 3 bucks sighted.
