Are black squirrels part of the bag limit?

I noticed that in the hunting regulations' squirrel hunting section, that grey, fox and red squirrels are mentioned in the limit. However, there's no mention of black squirrels.

Black squirrels are the same family as grey squirrels, so perhaps that is the DNR's reasoning.

Are black squirrels part of the bag limit?
What are your thoughts?

Thank you, Bowhunter57

Dang the DNR for trying to keep the black squirrel down! :smiley_crocodile:

OK, serious question. Do black squirrels have darker meat?

No they do not, but their tails are almost twice as long as the white ones!:smiley_crocodile:

They can go from tree to tree with no problem but let them fall in the water and they are fugged. They don't like the snow and cold weather either.
