Evidently I'm hunting a doe zoo. I've seen 7 so far. All at 20 yards or less and killable. This is testing my early season patience.

Yes, deer here are really just the size of large dogs. It does make you more accurate with a bow if you hunt here ...hahaha... great first hunt of the year. I saw about 20 deer...action was non stop from 4:30 to 7:00. Didn't shoot anything, but inspite of the heat it was just dang good to be in the deer woods. loved every minute of it. Back at it all day Monday...if I'm lucky I'll see a buck over 100 inches...a monster in these partslmao

Glad you had a good time Josh... That is what's important. So how many deer are you allowed down there?
Craziest rules ever down here. 2 deer per day. No season limit. There are periods where you can only shoot antlered or antler less, but you can kill a lotta deer if you want to.
