Arm guard?

Anyone use an arm guard? I shoot with my arm straight and I am worried my string will hit my hunting clothes. Any good guards or homemade ones?

I think the best one are ones you make yourself or have made. I made my own for when I shoot my trad bows.

I use the Team Realtree sleeve when I have on a few extra layers. A good home remedy is to take some of your old ladies (unless she is a big gal) knee high panty hose and cut the foot section off and use the remaining over your coat.

I like to have one with rain gear also. It tends to wanna make big folds.

The addition of string suppressors on a bow has really helped. I generally don't need one and I shoot small BH bows

I have one but I only used it a few times so far. Bought it thinking it would be a good thing to have but found I don't really need it unless it's late season and I have bulky clothes on. Then it's only there to hold the bulk of the sleeve out of the way.
