Thought this would be another fun thread to get going. Post up some of your favorite trail cam pics from season's gone by. Bucks, does, fawns, coyotes, chupacabra, whatever you got that left an impression...

Here's a few of mine:

This was a buck I called Hightower. Had only night time pics, saw him once on hoof while hunting, never found out what happened to him, but also never got a pic after the 2009 season.

Hard Horned... last night I got pictures of this buck.

From 2008........Love the badass look he has!!!! Unfortunate for him he wasnt tougher than my arrow that year!

also from 2008....This deer broke my hear and never showed up again.....Probably one of the most promising 3 y/o deer I have ever had pics of!

2009
At the time I wrote him off as a nice 3 y/o that I would probably never see again in years to come.....As luck would have hit he found his way in front of me on Nov 18 the following year!

2010
Who woulda knew passing him up would be so rewarding the next year.....NEver write off bucks as being "duds" just because the yare not 140 by 4 yo

yet another heart breaker!

This.......

Followed by this!!!!!

Hands down one of hte prettiest deer I have ever gotten a photo of!

One of the oddest deer I have ever gotten photos of..Ol' flat top

Kaiser, that 9 inch drop tine (or whatever it was) truly was an awesome deer.
All he needed was to make it one more day.......and he didnt. HE stayed at my house all of gun season.....until the last day of the last gun season......HE he got turned into swiss cheese....... All he needed was one more year....... THe one night I had him at 15 yards u could jsut tell he was a young deer......man that still turns my stomach. haha Probably the one and only drop tine ill ever pass/have a chance to shoot in my life

The one that really got me going with trail cams. This buck was one I wanted bad back in 07. At the time I didn't think he would gross over 200 but after I found the sheds on christmas eve and christmas day I realized what a giant was. His horns ended up scoring 89 and some and 92 and change officially scored by buckmasters. Add the 20 inch spread and there it is... Too bad I found him dead on new years day 08...

At the time I didn't even notice he had shed one side. I should of known something was wrong with him in these next pics. Look how much weight he had lost...

I had hundreds of pics of him all summer and up until he died. He played peek a boo with me a couple times and even gave me a shot once but I blew it. The day I found him dead I honestly think I might of shed a tear or two...lol... But I moved on and found a few more play cat and mouse with. That's what makes chasing giants around so much fun.

After all said and done while looking for more sheds I was fortunate enough to find his sheds from the 06 year. He was even bigger then...

What to post and what not to post? I have a lot of really good pics. Need to do some digging.

I have several series of pictures of bedded bucks and bedded does. Those are cool to flip thru to see how they bed, get up, stretch and such. Great tool for studying behavior. Unfortunately, there are way too many to fit in a post.

Here is a starter. this is the buck I was after in 2010. He went MIA. Didn't see him once or get a picture of him last year. He is one of those bucks I hope makes an appearance this year, but I am not counting on it. He had one hog of a body. Score probably wouldn't have been overly massive (although respectable and I would not have hesitated lol), but he was a tank of a deer.

This picture is just cool to me. He is a pretty deer and I really should look at my pictures this year to see if he is one of the ones hanging out. He was a great looking young deer.

These are some cool pictures for one reason. I ended up wrapping my hands around these antlers later in the season! I didn't realize we had pictures of him until several weeks after I killed him. My buddy called me and said he had pictures of my deer. I laughed and asked him if he had been to the taxidermists and saw him. He said "Nope. Remember the one we were on the fence about at the beginning of the season that disappeared after getting pictures one time? That is the deer you killed! We have him on camera!" We were both pumped. It was the first nice deer we ever got on camera after he had bought the property. I killed him a mile or so down the road.

Wow, ok now that I got the attachments organized!

9 days after I shaved a patch of hair off of his back, and almost a year to the day later he showed back up. Only 3 pics of him last year, and we think he fell to the volley of 10 shots as he ran over our hill on opening day of gun season last year.
