Somehow I am fortunate to rarely get sick. Alyssa is always coming home with something as a kindergarten teacher and I never get it.
Well, I went to leave work yesterday and instant felt like hell. Had the shakes, felt like my heart was racing, hands started to feel numb and I found myself doing breathing exercises to get home.
Walked in the door, threw my laptop bag and coffee cup down and headed for the toilet. Threw up at 42 min past the hour every hour from 5:42pm to 4:42am.
I am not one to miss work but there was no way today. Probably going to bite me as I have a huge project kickoff presentation for leadership Thursday.
Anyway, here is to hoping none of you get this bug!
