In Louisiana, you can bait any area but in order to actually hunt it, you must clear the area of all "bait" and the area cannot be hunted for 2 weeks after clean up. Or something like that...it's hard to remember all these rules.

Yeah it's something confusing like that, i just threw 100 lbs out 2 weeks ago to see what was in the area, it'll have been over a month that it's been gone by the time season comes. I'm not trying to bait them to kill them, i just wanted to put some corn out to see what was out there and get them in front of the cam for a few minutes.
