After about six trips out I was just going to post all the golfballs that I have picked up, until today finely got on some. Three fresh ones, the one little guy grew backwards.

Picked up another small one. Must have had an injury, it was old and still had velvet.

Well our new pup had his first find today. I have been working with Willie at home with finding sheds, in hope of possibly making a shed dog.

At only three months it has not been real serious, because he is still working on some basics. For the most part he has been quick to learning and has made good progress, and has made it to the point where he can make some trips to the woods with me.
Anyhow we were out today checking on some shrooms and ramps. I just kept telling him to get the antler, not expecting much but to repeat the command over and over. On our way out in a hay field he must have seen it sticking up out of the hay just as I could, because he was off to the races to get his first just as I could spit out get the antler. After much praise and excitement for the both of us he was pissed when he did not get it back.

That is awesome! Got to be some satisfaction in his success as it is your success too! Congratulations.
