Not sure what the irony is, the fact that someone actually got pulled over in the county, or the fact that they were looking for a black man. We've only got one!
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a man impersonating a police officer pulled a driver over in Morrow County claiming he was looking for a black male suspect.
It happened on County Road 29 around 8:30pm Wednesday night.
The driver described the suspect as a clean shaven white man with a black polo shirt with a gold star on the left chest pocket and a black hat with a gold star. The suspect approached the car on the passenger side and shined his flashlight in the mirror, so the driver did not get a good look at his face.
The suspect was driving a black Dodge Charger with a red flashing light on the dash. The vehicle did not have a license plate or any markings.
The Patrol says the suspect asked the driver for proof of identity and then told him to move along.
