If the water is soft I plan on hunting Metzgers Dec. 14th in the pm and again in the morning on the 15th. I have two other guys going that are first time duck hunters. I love taking new guys out. Le tme know!

I've always wanted to give Metzger's a try... Unfortunately though, I've pretty much spent all of my vacation time for the year so there's no way I could make it. Best of luck to you!
I thought metzgers marsh was up there on the lake, just north-northwest of oak harbor? Castalia is probably almost an 45 minutes from there...
