Had a jewelry filled weekend . We didn't slaughter the birds but we sent 14 to the big roost pond in the sky. Sunday the guy I was hunting with shot a band. Then Monday it was my turn to gather some jewelry. His was a banded last yr as a juvenile and mine was banded last yr as an adult.

Kai first hunting trip ever. He just turned 2 last month . He and I had a good time. He wouldn't set the birds down.

Yeah. He had hearing protection for every shot taken. I passed up alot of shots when he wasn't wearing protection or when he wasn't directly behind me. I also made it a quick hunt
