My bro and I have been running cams about as long as most of you have and this past week he got a pic of our first stumped tailed putty tat. He has one video but only sent me this one pic. Has anyone else caught a pic of one lately? Here it is.......it looks to be a big one but don't know for sure.

Nice one!
There have been a few caught on trails cams around here.
I have seen 2 while hunting, one in the spring and one in the fall.
The hair stands up on the back of you neck when they walk by.

Why do you think that coyotes have come back SO strong yet Bobcats are so slow coming back?

Beentown

My theory would be that bobcats aren't as tolerant of human interaction as coyotes. Coyotes put up with a lot of shit.... Hell, I've read that there are over a thousand coyotes roaming the city streets of Chicago.

Yeah... that, and they are a lot more secretive. It seems like the only time anyone sees one around here is if it is road kill, and I would assume that is during their mating season.
