Not that I know of, just opening day. There was 22k and some change killed on opening day, up from I think 18k last year.

Talked to a local processor today and according too him it’s a banner year.... Had 80dropped off opening day and been busy all week.... Said he hasn’t seen these numbers in quite some time...

That would be what I seen in SE Ohio, not around SW though. I’ve also heard good things about NW Ohio this year.

When I dropped mine off at the processor he too said his numbers were up. That was on Wednesday. My deer was number 216 for him this year. I think last year I was somewhere around 180 for him that also was on Wednesday of gun. His numbers started at the beginning of season so don't know what I was of just gun.

Don’t always believe what you see, most are stark county deer they’re throwing off other hunters saying they’re from Columbiana county..... [emoji23]

Same up here. Processor I talked to yesterday had 90 on Monday, 80 on Tuesday, close to 60 on Wednesday, and over 60 yesterday. They said it's the busiest year they've ever had.

My wife had to wait in line for an hour outside of Bellevue meats on opening day to take in some boned out meat for summer sausage off of a antlerless i killed week prior. I told her not to wait till monday lol. She was in her business casual entire with the local good ole boys who had deer. I would of loved to be a fly on the wall for the conversations my wife had and odd looks she got when she started talking about harvesting mature bucks and deer management!

You fellas know it's warm, right?

Tuesday was warm. Up here, every other day has been fine. Overnights in the upper 30's and low 40's. Daytime temps in the 40's.

I'm sure temperature has caused some folks to take in deer that normally don't, but it's obvious the gun season harvest is going well up here. I talked to a lot of happy hunters yesterday.
