I have family in southern Indiana. I try to hunt each year with my nephew and his dad. They have 500 acre lease. I hunted all day yesterday, froze my butt off in rain because I underdressed. I saw a doe at 60 yrs at 8:00am, a nice buck at 60 at 11:10. Was ready to hang it up at 3;00 when this buck explodes out of the tree line on the other side of the cut I was on. He was looking for a fight. He ran directly over, I belated to slow him up, and let the arrow fly at 25 yrs. He piled up 80 yrs away. The pressure is off!
Tonight I'll try for doe.
