Went back to check my cam and a friends cam and both were gone! It was only a week between checks too. His was off a logging trail, and mine was very hard to get to and surrounded by corn! Not sure how they found mine but I knew some thing was up when the grass was matted down long the edge of the woods. Well jokes on them, I have the only spy point around here and it is a POS! That makes two cams and a stand gone in the last 10 months!

It's ok, it was on me I shouldn't bitch too much! I didn't put them in a secure box or cable! I trusted society and believed there was still a greater good in people.

While scouting some public land yesterday we came up on a camera (bungy corded to the tree) on a horse riding trail at a creek crossing.... That's one trusting individual right there.... I waved at it as I walked by...

Not that a cable will prevent someone who really wants it but it will keep an honest man, honest....

Everything I put out has a chain/cable and lock on it...

I make it a point to stop and piss when I see one on public land[emoji23]. Someone has a pic of me and my two buys standing in row pissing. Wife said "you are so embarrassing".

i only lock my stuff on a few places i hunt, everywhere i hunt i share it with other people most of the time all is good, have had a few things stolen, i now make it known if my stuff is stolen every stand or camera i come across on a property will become mine. set up a couple decoy cams and hang a couple up high above them.

That damn thing gave me more fits than any of the cheap $40 ones I buy now!
The cameras were great when they first came out. I have three IR4 cams from spypoint that have seen 8 seasons of use and still run like a champ.

We actually had a partnership with spy point on the forum for a short period. Probably sold over 100 cameras to members at cost in a 2 year span. Once they started to get bigger and sell cameras in the large box stores their quality dropped dramatically. We were experiencing more than a 40% failure rate of cameras within a year of being sold. I went back to spypoint and told them their product was no longer one that we could stand behind and would no longer be selling them to our members.

Good to hear that there are still a few people that won't endorse a product they don't believe in. That's getting pretty rare these days.

I was one of the 100 members, it worked great and then started to slowly fall apart....parts broke off and the camera it's self would not work some times, didn't like certain sd cards, and the biggie the time stamp that wouldn't stay current! That one drove me nuts lol
