I need a hobby I can tinker with around the camper. I had hopes for rebuilding a ML shotgun and making a box call, but I'm just not finding anything reasonably priced. So my brains been turning the last couple of weeks on "now what?". My old man makes custom knife handles already, I've been thinking about making the blades. I could do all the grinding and such at the house and polish them up around the camper.

That really hasn't grabbed my attention 100% though... What else would be cool to do?

You dad does nice work.
Ive yet to fix a hobby that involves making something that is cheap. I used to be able to buy rusty axe heads for like 5 bucks a piece. However that hobby has gained a lot of popularty lately and prices have gone crazy. Muzzleloaders have always been expensive to build even back in the 60s. Whittling and spoon making is probably the cheapest hobby like that your going to find.
