What type of AA batteries do you guys use in your cams. I need a new supply of 100 plus for 5 cams.

I use Energizer or Duracell, whichever ones my wife orders from our Amazon prime subscriptions...I don't buy the cheap ones anymore because last time I had to replace them in a month. That was in my Simmons cam.

In my muddy pro cams I have duracells now and have not changed the batteries since last October.

In my opinion Duracell's far outlast Energizer batteries in whatever... Just put cameras out in Illinois and won't be back out to check them until Sept. I am confident they will still be powering the cameras. I will change them then though, so I have full charges when deer activity picks up in Oct.

I use the energizer lithium..they are pricey but they last about 8-10 months. Cheaper batteries will only last a couple of months at best.
I beg to differ. I've had 2 cameras out since September on Duracell's and they are still going, battery meter says full.

I once got 13 continuous months of operation with a Bushnell Trophy Cam using Energizer Ultimate Lithiums. Over 8000 total pictures taken. I don't leave cams out that long anymore but I do believe the Energizers are an amazing battery. These days, however, I just buy bulk el cheapo batteries from Dollar General or Home Depot/Lowe's etc. My cams are only in operation a few months of the year, tops... So I just make it a point to start with fresh batteries at the start each year.

What brand camera are you using? How many pictures are they taking? I was using bushnell trophy cams and they would only last a couple months with regular batteries. The energizer lithium's are the best that I've found for that camera. I would put in new batteries in March then when I checked the cameras in Oct/Nov, they would still be going strong with 5-6000 pictures on the sd card. I'm experimenting with browning, covert and soon exodus and am going to stick with the lithium because of the good results that I've had in the past.

I think Sgt just hit a key point..."how many pictures are you getting" I'm a lithium fan also or Duracell. I've never had either leak on me and have had other brands leak. I feel they are are pretty comparable otherwise.

I'm referring to the two Spartan cams that I have which take 12 AA's. Idk how many pics I've gotten, quite a lot.
