Sick dog...

Well my Tanner boy has gotten into something pretty bad this time. He's been puking for over 24 hours and hasn't shit. Basically just puking up stomach vile now, or water if he does get a drink. We think someone is running a coyote bait pile as he's been getting into random things for over a month now. This time it looked to be like pork fat or fat of some sort.

He's pacing back and forth and won't lay down for long. Won't eat or drink at this point. I just tried to give him a piece of egg and he just dropped it and walked away. Tanner Boy is almost 10 and I've never seen him this sick.

Anyone ever deal with anything like this? I wouldn't even know where to find a vet on a Sunday in this area. Dude looks miserable…gotta be something I can do to help him.

I think it's something pretty serious...wife and I were just having "the talk". If it's a blockage like we think...FUCK! Not sure I could drive home without him.

You need to call med vet or ohio state and see what they recommend.. could be life threatening
My wife is a vet and thats what she recommends

How do I get in touch with one? Is there a list somewhere? This is what I'm looking for at this point. Someone I can call and explain whats going on and get a professional opinion.

Sounds like possible blockage or intestine twisted... Get him to the vet's... How all works out well...

They check on the dogs in the pet hospital up the road @6:00, they have agreed to take a look at him then. Probably do an X-ray to see if he has a bone or something causing a blockage. It's been hard trying to explain to people that the bait pile was not poisoned. This is more then your standard upset stomach though.
