I have a Big Buddy. Often times use it with the camper when we have no power available. Rather than running a generator I just run the Mr Buddy on low. Keeps us warm. Almost too warm in a 28' fifth wheel. Have also used it under a rental property house on occasion if the pipes freeze. Not often (thankfully) but was beneficial to have. Nice way to slowly bring it back up to temperature and thaw pipes. I feel safer using it rather than a salamander heater.

Should be good, might be a little small too keep up in single digits....

Chad or Jesse had one in our cabin at Stroud's last outing and it warmed that cabin up really nice....

I would think either one would work in a blind. Not sure on smell. Never noticed anything but never tried them in a blind. Lots of guys use them in blinds. I will add, the Big Buddy has ability to hook two of the small propane tanks (size you use on a camping stove). I never use two. I have an adapter to hook it to one of the $20 sized propane tanks you use for your backyard grill. No real desire to swap little tanks in the middle of the night. Those might be a pain to drag to a blind but they sure are nice if you want to run the heater for a long time.

That's what I was curious about. I know the big one can be hooked up to big grill sized propane tank but I'm not sure about the little one. My only worry is the one I saw in action when I got put up in a real nice elevated blind was that it lit us up like a Christmas tree in the morning. I still think it may be nice for a blind hunter

By the time a guy needs a heater in a blind he shouldn't be hunting mornings anyway[emoji106]

We only had time for a afternoon, night stay, and then morning hunt so I wasn't about to complain. I will say that afternoon we were covered up in deer. Not so much in the morning.

Who gives a shit, if it gets you out hunting and keeps you comfortable, get you one man! I think we all know you like to be comfortable while shooter bucks walk by...lol
