Thought i'd start a thread about it. I have two BB guns that were sitting in the box. I took both of the guns out. Wow, i havent shot those thing in 25 years. Those thing needs work. Need to take it apart, clean em, and oil it up.

My dad bought it from his friends and he got me those to shoot with. I thought it was cool as fugg to be shooting at birds. I can remember the first bird i killed at 30 or 40 yd. Shooting at cans typical shit kids do these days. As Christmas Story said in that movie you'd shoot your eye out kid...well i never shot my eye out but i ahot shot myself in the chest, lmao. I was little, what did you expect a kid to do, lol I thought it was awesome when that happened, lol. I was standing by the garbage dumpster, i looked at the dumpster and thought why not shoot at it. So, i did....as i pulled the trigger i saw the bb hit the dumpster, it bounce off hitting me in the chest. I had no time to move i just stood there and said to myself why is the bb coming back toward me. It hit me in the chest, lol. It was about 10-15 yards when i shot at it.

Im gonna take it apart, clean em, and shoot em. Probably will do that after deer season is over with. To get it ready in time for spring time because i have alot of squirrel that plays around in my back yard. I can just leave back door open, grab a chair and kill all them squirrels. 20161221_171417.jpg

I remember my first pellet gun also. Looked like a S&W revolver and ran on co2... I'd imagine today's world would flip shit to see a kid riding his bike down the road packing one of those in his waist!

I couldn't find a pic of the exact one. Mine was chromed out and I didn't feel like looking through a bunch of pictures on google...this is what the one I had looked like.

This bad boy here was my first bb gun the crosman 760 pumpmaster, my grandpa got it for me. I killed alot of birds with that also and I contribute my love for hunting to that bb gun. Grandpa also got me both of the pellet pistols, all were Christmas gifts. Always got something cool from him. RIP Grandpa

Those were the bomb! We killed so many Pigeons with those back at the hay mill in the town I grew up in. God I miss eating Pigeon. Shit, we killed everything with those.

I grew up with a CO2 Crossman BB gun. Thing was pretty bad azz with a fresh CO2 cartridge in it. I use to shoot Red Squirrels that were eating the peanut butter stick my Mom would hang out for the birds.

I now am the proud owner of a Red Ryder BB gun that hangs in my bed room on a gun rack my father made me. I also had the "Leg Lamp" for years but alas it got worn out, lol.

Nice, Jeff. Good read. I cant wait to get started on mine with few cold beer and see how it shoots.

Good idea to make a rack for both of mine

I had the old Crosman 760 pump as well. I ran about 100,000 shots through that sucker back in the day....from cans, to birds, to turtle, and fish (we lived near a river), to an occasional BB gun war. Those were the days.

When the teenage years hit I sold it to the kid down the street for $ 15 bucks. He lost it in the woods sometime that summer of ~1983. Now 30+ years later....I wish I had it back.

Any of you guys ever have one of those Benjamin sheridan pumps? My cousin had one, got my longest confirmed kill with that Fugger. Dropped a woodpecker off the side of a tree from 85 yards open sights. Also shot my brother in the leg with it once lol.

Remember selling M&M's as a school fund raiser? Specifically the box they came in? I was standing about 15' from the fat neighbor kid holding one of those boxes...the dumb shit decides to shoot the box I was holding. Through the box goes the BB and into my hand. It's didn't blow all the way through, it stuck in the skin on the top side.

That was the day I learned I could knock someone out with one swift hit on the chin. That fat bastard went down like a sack of potatoes. And I got to go to the hospital to have it removed...that was also my first, of many, stitches.

Still have the scar 23 years later.
